Privacy Policy

Updated October 29, 2026

Glint is an invite-only learning library operated by Fett Ventures LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This page explains what information Glint collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Glint does not use ads. It uses PostHog, an analytics service, to record page views, errors and actions in the app (such as posts made, lessons completed and submissions sent), linked to your account ID and email address, so we can see what works and fix problems. PostHog keeps an identifier in your browser for this. Your browser also stores your sign-in session and a few display settings, such as which stories you have already seen.

How we use it

Information is used only to run and improve Glint: to sign you in, show your profile and posts to other members, and display likes, comments, follows and activity. Glint does not sell or rent your information and does not share it with advertisers.

Who can see your content

Only signed-in Glint members can see profiles, posts, comments, likes and follows. Saved posts are visible only to you. Photo files are stored at unlisted web addresses, so anyone who is given a photo's direct link can open that photo. Photos removed for breaking the Community Guidelines are moved to private storage.

Safety and moderation

To keep Glint safe, Glint staff can review reported content and any content needed to enforce the Community Guidelines, including posts from private accounts. Direct messages stay private between the people in the conversation; staff can read a message only if someone in that conversation reports it, along with up to 10 earlier messages that the person reporting shares for context.

When content is reported or removed, Glint keeps a copy for review and appeals, even if it is deleted, and keeps a record of every moderation decision. If content is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as US law requires, it is kept for at least one year. If an account is banned, Glint keeps its sign-in identity and email address so the same person can't rejoin.

When automatic screening is turned on, new photos, video cover images, captions and profile photos are sent to OpenAI's moderation service to check for content that breaks the Community Guidelines before others see it.

Every image sent through Submit is also fingerprinted and compared with lists of known child sexual abuse images before anyone reviews it. A match keeps the submission out of Glint, moves its files to private storage, and alerts Glint so it can be reported to NCMEC as US law requires.

Where it is stored

Glint's data and photos are stored with Supabase in the United States, and the website is hosted by Vercel. When automatic screening is on, OpenAI processes the content described above to check it. These providers process data only to operate the service.

Deleting your information

You can delete your own posts and comments in the app at any time; deleting a post also removes its likes and comments. To delete your entire account and all of its data, choose Delete account in your profile menu, or email charlie@fettventures.com from the address you sign in with; emailed requests are completed within 30 days. An account can't be deleted while it is limited, suspended or banned, while it has active strikes, or while a report about it is being reviewed, and safety records described above are kept for the periods stated there.

Children

Glint is only for people 18 and older. Everyone confirms their age when they join. If Glint learns an account belongs to someone under 18, the account is removed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
